The Analogis Demag is a professional device designed to eliminate residual magnetisation which, over time, can build up on the heads and tape guides of cassette recorders and reel-to-reel tape recorders. This unwanted magnetisation can contribute to a loss of definition and clarity during playback; regular use of the Demag helps to preserve the optimal condition of the components and maintain consistent sound quality, in full accordance with the care and maintenance typical of analogue audio.
Compact and practical, it is designed for simple and controlled use: the red tip allows you to approach the parts to be treated with slow, circular movements, without direct contact, thus achieving effective and uniform demagnetisation. Its compact dimensions (approx. 17 x 2.9 x 2.9 cm) and light weight (approx. 120 g) make it easy to store and ideal for keeping in the workshop or near your maintenance station.
Key features
-
Effective demagnetisation of print heads and tape guide components, to restore correct operating conditions.
-
Simple and safe to use, with a clear and controllable procedure.
-
Compact size: 17 x 2.9 x 2.9 cm, approx. 120 g.
Instructions for use (important)
For correct use, ensure that there are no media or devices sensitive to magnetic fields (cassettes, reels, hard disks, floppy disks, credit cards) within a radius of at least 3 metres. Connect the Demag to a 230V socket, slowly bring the red tip close to the parts to be demagnetised and make small circular movements without touching the components. When finished, gradually move the device away to a distance of approximately 1 metre before unplugging it from the socket.
Warnings
: The device is not suitable for continuous use: maximum usage time is 5 minutes, after which it must be unplugged and left to cool down. Keep out of reach of children and follow the instructions carefully. Not suitable for people with pacemakers.
An essential accessory for anyone wishing to take systematic care of their analogue electronics and preserve the quality of their equipment over time.
