This is a high-fidelity microphone of robust construction, designed to operate in a wide variety of environmental and climatic conditions. It is fitted with an output transformer for a balanced, medium-impedance line (250 ohms), making it suitable for use with cables up to approximately 500 metres in length. It can be used in conjunction with any amplifier suitable for piezoelectric microphones of medium sensitivity or ribbon microphones.
