A CD player in the classic dark grey finish typical of the London-based brand’s products. New Acoustic Dimension (NAD) launched this CD player in 1988, and it immediately received excellent reviews in the specialist magazines of the time.
This is a machine that embodies the British brand’s philosophy: minimalism to get to the heart of the music. All efforts were focused on engineering to create a product which, whilst affordable to a wide audience, would satisfy even the most demanding audiophile.
This CD player is equipped with a Sony KSS 150A laser drive and an 18-bit NTT Mash digital-to-analogue converter with an integrated digital filter and 4x oversampling.
It features fixed and variable analogue outputs. The variable output can also be controlled via the convenient remote control. Furthermore, it can be digitally interfaced via the coaxial digital output and thus used as a pure transport.
The unit has been fully refurbished and is in excellent condition, both aesthetically and functionally. It also plays burned audio discs. It is offered complete with the original remote control and instructions, as well as the original packaging.
