This CD player was first released in Japan in 1989. The audio signal conversion section features a dual PCM56P-L DAC with an 18-bit digital filter and 8x oversampling. The drive mechanism is Pioneer’s proprietary PWY1010 model. It includes an anti-resonance system and disc stabiliser, RCA phono sockets for line output, and a headphone jack with volume control.
The unit is in perfect working order and also plays burned discs; it is also in excellent cosmetic condition.
