A mid-width stereo system from Marantz, measuring just 32 cm across, in the classic champagne colour of that era. It comes fully equipped for immediate and complete use. Let’s take a closer look at its components, starting from the top.
TT143: fully automatic belt-driven tangential turntable. The automatic mechanism allows for endless playback of the same side of the record via the repeat function. The tonearm is moved electronically via two buttons on the front panel. It comes with a cartridge fitted with a new stylus that has yet to be broken in.
ST 143L: analogue stereo tuner with FM, MW and LW sections. Dipole antenna included.
PM 143: amplifier with slider-type volume control and balance. Tone control via selection buttons. Headphone output on the front panel. Impressive 25 W RMS output per channel into an 8-ohm load.
SD 143: cassette deck and source selector. Features a single-cassette deck with Dolby System.
Bluetooth receiver with internal rechargeable battery and mini-jack to RCA connection cable. Connect it to the rear CD/AUX input and enjoy music directly from your mobile phone.
HD 160: pair of two-way air-suspension loudspeakers (making them easier to position in the room). Maximum power of 40W at 8 ohms. Equipped with a 16cm woofer and a 5cm mid-high driver. Sensitivity is 88 dB and the frequency response is 60-18,000 Hz.
The dimensions of the column, as shown in the photo, are 32 x 34.5 x 33 cm (WxHxD) and it weighs almost 12 kg
. Each individual speaker measures 23 x 36.5 x 21 cm and weighs 2.2 kg.
The entire system has been serviced and is fully operational.
