Here we have a fully automatic turntable with an S-shaped tonearm.
Direct-drive platter with a quartz-controlled servomotor. Speeds: 33 and 45 rpm. A machined non-magnetic aluminium platter weighing approximately 2 kg, upper chassis entirely in aluminium alloy and lower chassis in metal, adjustable feet for correct levelling of the lower sub-chassis, which is damped by a highly sophisticated system of 4 anti-vibration springs. S-shaped tonearm with rear tracking force adjustment and magnetic anti-skating. Furthermore, it was possible to adjust the tonearm height (VTA) by +/- 3mm to achieve the correct vertical tracking angle for the cartridge being used. Standard SME cartridge mount.
Aesthetically, it is in good condition. There are a few marks here and there; the original cover, whilst intact, has some scratches. Please refer to the original photos of the item for further details.
The difference between the PL 380 version and the A version is that the latter features a Hall-effect PLL DC quartz servo motor utilising the SH Rotor system. The turntable is supplied complete with the shell but without a cartridge, allowing you to fit your preferred model.

It comes with a copy of the English-language user manual for the Western PL 600 model, along with a shell and a new Audio Technica AT 3600L cartridge, so you can enjoy your favourite records straight away.
