A Marantz Class D integrated amplifier with the added convenience of a built-in tuner. The power amplifier section is very well built, featuring transistor output stages (rather than the ‘all-in-one’ STK chips that were so popular at the time). It features electronic speaker protection circuitry, as well as controls for volume, tone and balance.
Equipped with inputs for phono (turntable), CD, CDV, TV, VCR and tape. Outputs for two pairs of loudspeakers, selectable from the front panel.
The unit can be controlled directly via remote control and features rear connections labelled RC5 for controlling other electronics using the same communication protocol, making it compatible not only with Marantz but also with Philips and Grundig.
Functionally tested and in perfect working order.
Two units are available, selectable from the drop-down menu:
A) complete with RC 60SR remote control, original packaging and user manual
B) complete with a compatible Philips RC 890 remote control and a copy of the user manual
