Ladies and gentlemen, here we have a genuine Marantz.
To be honest, it is the last true Marantz, as the Japanese-American joint venture subsequently dissolved, taking a direction that somewhat tarnished the reputation of this legendary brand.
As already mentioned, this is a splendid integrated amplifier from Marantz.
Engineered in the United States and manufactured in Japan during the golden age of hi-fi. It
features a built-in analogue AM/FM tuner and the option to connect two pairs of speakers, selectable via the front panel. It
is a very powerful unit, delivering 28 watts per channel RMS into a 4-ohm load. I emphasise ‘real’ because this is not one of those disposable boxes of today which, just to make a sale, claim power ratings bordering on the absurd. Furthermore, the sound produced by the output stage of this Marantz is light years away from the cold reproduction of many units on the market today.
Multiple connectable inputs, including a turntable and two tape inputs (which can also be used as auxiliary inputs).
Functionally tested, refurbished and in working order.
Aesthetically in excellent condition.
