A highly versatile and striking piece of kit. This tape deck, with its authentic vintage style, was launched in the late 1970s by TEAC, the Japanese brand renowned for its excellent electronics.
It is a single-cassette recorder with two heads and a single capstan. It features mechanical controls and a three-digit mechanical cassette advance indicator. Dual backlit analogue needle VU-meters. Equipped with switchable Dolby and manual tape type selection, as well as recording level and output volume controls. Headphone output and front microphone inputs. On the rear panel, there are connections in both standard RCA plug and old 5-pin DIN standard.
The unit has been fully refurbished and is in perfect working order.
