Denon AD 3 - record stabiliser clamp

The vinyl record stabiliser clamp was an essential accessory for anyone wishing to improve the performance of their turntable. It consisted of a metal weight, often made of aluminium, brass or bronze, with a base covered in rubber or silicone to ensure a secure grip without damaging the surface of the record. Its main function was to keep the vinyl firmly in contact with the platter, eliminating the micro-movements that could cause vibrations, resonance or slight fluctuations in the sound.
